If you have been the victim of a cybercrime, you go to The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) which is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting law enforcement in the prevention, investigation, and prosecution of economic and high-tech crimes. While NW3C has no investigative authority itself, the mission of NW3C is to provide training, investigative support and research to agencies and entities involved in the prevention, investigation, and prosecution of economic and high-tech crime.
NW3C currently works with over 4,000 member agencies across the globe, including state, local, federal, international and tribal law enforcement.
If you want to file a complaint, just click the button and you'll be sent to the Internet Crime Complaint Center. But if you need information to understand the resources available to you, the NW3C is full of information about all kinds of cybercrimes.
These sites are great resources - if you know someone who has been the victim of a cybercrime, pass both of these sites along. And bookmark them yourself, just in case.
