The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) recently revised its advice for avoiding phishing and social engineering attacks. The November 15th update is blessedly concise (3 pages) and a good start for baseline user education.
The FBI, last month, released an even shorter document providing very simple guidance for defending against phishing and spear-phishing attacks.
Obviously, cybersecurity professionals need in-depth guidance – but this is a good place to start if you are an everyday user who finds both subjects daunting.
