How Long Do You Think It Would Take to Crack Your Password?

Thanks to Doug Austin, author of the superb CloudNine eDiscovery Daily Blog, for allowing me to use this informative infographic from his blog.

As ever, there are those who will dispute the infographic. The bottom line is, I think, correct. Length matters - NIST has constantly reiterated that. You can make a password or passphrase stronger by adding numbers, upper and lower case letters, symbols, etc., but the bottom line is that length is critical!
